    Re: SUPERBOWL APOLOGY THREAD

I got linked that earlier today and right after I saw it I put $500 on the Jets to beat the chargers. There is no freaking way a team with someone so stupid as to make that video will ever win a big game.

Part of me is looking forward to saying "It took a Green Bay QB for the Vikings to win a Super bowl" but another part of me doesn't want to see them win.  Either way I kind of win Big Smile

Needless to say, the game this weekend versus the Saints is going to be great!  I can't wait to see it.

    Re: SUPERBOWL APOLOGY THREAD

The only reason the saints won that game was because of the REFS botched calls, yea both of em at the end of the game.

The Colts are going to murder the saints in the super bowl. Even with 6 turnovers on the vikings the score was still tied, that shows you how different the two teams are.

Unless you are blind or just plain more interested in hating certain players it was obvious that the refs screwed the OT. The same way the refs screwed the end of the Packers Cards game. At some point a multi billion dollar sport should consider full time refs. That is a big lesson in dome field advantage as well Vikings screwed up not getting home field.

As for Pete yea Brees was incredible he was awesome with 77 yards passing in the second half and 2 picks he threw that for some reason the defenders decided not to catch. I honestly feel bad for anyone who thinks Brees won that game he played very below average.

the refs didnt screw up thew packer card game.  its ok to hit the qb on a fumble and the ref doesnt have to call a face mask if the player doesnt pull or tug on it, simply touching it isnt a penalty.

also, i thought the saints got screwed on the 3rd down, not need to even have the 4th, but they converted there anyway.  the pass interference was close enough not to cry about and henderson caught the ball.  now if you want to say they missed something, say they missed the saints last 3rd down when the viking defender tackled the saint before they ball got to him.  they had to settle for that long field goald try when they should have had a fresh set of downs

    Re: SUPERBOWL APOLOGY THREAD

Josh Favre played great all season long and put the Vikings in a position to win that game even after all the mistakes. When you have the season and career he has had you can sing whatever the fuck you want.

    Re: SUPERBOWL APOLOGY THREAD

Josh at no time or for any reason can you hit a QB on the head it is a penalty also it is highly illegal for WRs to run over DBs before they have the ball. Facts are a terrible thing to waste Josh even for haters like you.

    Re: SUPERBOWL APOLOGY THREAD

One of the interceptions should have been called back for a low hit on Farve, and I thought the spot on that 3rd down to make it 4th and inches was a good call the guy moved backwards without anyone touching him.  Anyone who blames Farve for loosing that game because of the last int must be blind to all the other fumbles the vikings had and that drop by the saftey in OT that was tossed into his hands by Colston.
